Did we pick a bad year, to have a bad year?

When was the last time there wasn't a consensus number 1? Every year it seems there is a guy just about everybody agrees on, and then the rest is a mess from about 3 on down. This year nobody can seem to agree. I can only think back to 2005 with Mario Williams, VY and Reggie Bush, but everybody figured Mario Williams would be the pick. This year nobody knows....I guess it makes the draft a little more exciting, but..it kind of sucks that this draft doesn't have that guy that everybody can agree on..
