Do you know this guy?

I just left ESPN site looking at QB stats from 2010. Kellen Moore is at the top of that list by Rating, of 182.6 w/Cam at 182. But I must say that K. Moore stats look darn good:

ATT CMP PCT YDS YDS/A LNG TD INT SCKS

Kellen Moore, QB BSU 383 273 71.3 3845 10.0 83 35 6 6

Does anyone know anything about him? I haven't heard his name being mentioned as a possible pick for us.

Although my personal preference would be to grab a vet QB like McNabb and draft Cam. I think that McNabb has a few years left and his character will allow him to be the perfect teacher to Cam.

I'm 99% sure that Moore is returning for his senior year. Moore isn't a bad QB at all, and I don't know what the hell would make him any worse than Gabbert or Mallett. Moore was a Heisman front runner until a kicker missed a FG to win the game.

You must not know me very well. I don't give a fug about what you do in college unless I am talking about my college team. Since we are discussing an NFL team, I want to know, or try to predict, what you will be able to do in the NFL.

From my own judgment, he doesn't have what it takes to make it in the NFL. He's got a squirt gun for an arm for starters, he's left handed, his supporting cast is much better than he is (aka Jimmy Clausen), and he beat up on scrubs all year.

Bottom line is he doesn't have the tools to make it in the NFL.

I think he will be a first round pick next year personally. I watched a few of their games against fairly strong competition. The guy is pretty accurate and good in a clutch.

It might be personal but I just don't think he has the arm and physical attributes teams look for. If he does it'll be late 1

Ohhh, I'm not a huge fan of college football. So I'm not familar with him at all. I just happen to see his stats and thought that they were interesting. It's not question wether or not we need a QB, I was just looking...... Man I hope we have football this year, with a very good QB, LOL

    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). • He was a more accurate passer at 56.2%. That's what I mean. Even by outlier standards, this dude was inaccurate. Closest I can recall to something like that would have been one of those GT QB's like Reggie Ball. Career 48.6% passer.
