Because he is selfish and too many people have told him he is great. Mark it down what everyone said about him is true. He has great talent but is lazy and plays when he wants too. Thats never gonna change with him.

I don't see how him wanting to leave makes him selfish.. I think us hating on him for wanting to leave is the biggest example of being selfish.

If he doesn't want to be here, I'm all for him being traded or leaving. But I'm also not going to hate on the guy for doing whatever makes him happy. I can't see how that's a bad thing. We all do it.

The soap box sure is easy to get on in these situations....

are you being sarcastic? Hopefully so.

What kind of character are you showing by completley trashing a guy just because his life and career decisions don't line up with what you do on a sunday afternoon?

It seems pretty damn selfish to want peppers to stay just to satisfy your wants and needs. Put yourself in his shoes.

I'm amazed how emotional some people get over this stuff, just respect a man's decisions without sounding like a angry child.

you get 14.5 sacks and make another Probowl ...I guess thats what laziness does for you. Dude don't hate on Peppers because he seeks CHANGE!. He probably has outgrown Charlotte....wants to try a bigger city....change is good. He is hands down the most popular player ever to don a panthers uniform and its hard but...you just have to let him go...LET HIM GO PANTHER FANS. The Chicago Bulls let Mike go, the Cowboys even let Emmitt go....let the man go so he can find a house in Houston before camp starts..:biggrinjester:

I dont need to trash the guy that has already been done. Im just saying what its out there. Money is not a factor to pep and I dont blame players for wanting the most they can get cause its gonna have to last another 40 years if there lucky. This has to do more with Pep thinking he is better then the team and it has noting to do with me wanting him to stay. I would rather have a hard working player like Hoover with less talent then a Player like Pep that had loads of it but dose not use it. Is this any different then what Randy Moss has done or what T.O has done but on a low profile scale? NO and thats why I say he is selfish. I find it funny how people still are defending what pep wants but threw Jenk under the bus for the same crap. Thats just amusing. Do remember this whole shitfan effect has been caused by there not so tactful interviews that Peps agent and himself have done. Not much has been kept in house.

    • Yeah, I was about to say I hope he's doing okay health-wise because he's not looking good in that pic.
    • Honestly, I dont  think he should be on the hot seat yet. A bad start to next year, then yes. Despite our mistakes on play calling this past season, we played better than anticipated overall. Bryce showed improvement and maturity (although still not nowhere close to our expectations). Better record and 2-15 to 5-12 to 8-9. Despite what we feel the stats dont lie we are improving by 3 wins a year. Could 11-6 be our expectation. That's a high bar but at the rate we are going, thats what its looking like. We all want to see a 5-12 to a 13-4 record but we are methodically moving up. Success doesnt happen overnight (well in most cases).  IMO we are struggling mostly on the defensive end. LB and edge are our biggest weakness. I see Bryce making improvements (even though I was a Bryce hater) next year. Biggest concern is LT on offense. How to fix this? We need a big name edge or to trade up and get a big name edge or LB and pick up one in FA and draft one. Also if in the 3rd we can pick up a TE. Dont know if Sanders is the answer or Tremble (even though I love Trembles blocking and power after the catch). If these two can get their footwork together they would be great. Maybe all they need is a better TE coach. And if Brooks can stay healthy and be the back we thought he could be, man that would be great
    • Dumbly blaming the best player on the team for everything.
