John Wall is a Thug

I see nothing wrong here. Z got him with 2 elbows to the face. The ball was protected and Z got 2 elbows while doing so. ANY player would swing back on that. I am not saying that fighting is a part of this game but, there are very few that would let that slide without doing something back. Big Z, Wall and Howard deserve fines and suspensions which I am sure that they will get.

Yall so quick to throw out THUG on here. We all know that he is but, it just seems like you were sitting back waiting on something to happen to call out THUG.

If he shoved him it would have not been a big issue but he punches him during the game. Really a cheap shot too as Z was holding a ball and playing basketball and the guy just sticks him in the side instead of playing D.

Yeah, IDK, I think this is what it is. It's a physical game and these things happen. I understand Z playing tough and I also understand Wall getting pissed. Z is probably used to guys guarding him that are quite a bit taller where he elbows aren't in their face. These players are HUMANS, anyone gets a little pissed with an elbow to the face. If anything, good for Wall for sticking up for himself.

But LOL at anyone holding Z back, he could just run a rampage if he wanted too.

As in thug? No, stop that. Barkley got into many, many fights like this and I wouldn't call him a thug. Now Arenas, getting busted with guns in the locker room, THAT is what I call a thug.

Thug is not the case. This is just an example of not being very smart and having a huge ego. If you know how the NBA works, Wall should have just hit the ground holding his face and hoped for a foul. I do not stand for flopping but in this case he was clearly touched, unlike the whole Chris Bosh incident.

McGee and Howard getting involved is just another example of letting your emotions override your intelligence. The entire situation could have easily been avoided and I hope all 4 are fined and suspended for a period of time.

    • The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market.  On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size.   TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?
    • I don’t  think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!
    • in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft .  this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint  ...just saying
