Madden. Why do I have to re-learn new controls every year? That's the reason I don't buy it anymore.

When's the last time you bought it? 1998? Sure they added the juke moves to one of the thumb sticks like 3 years ago, but you can still use the buttons, too. Other than that, I think the last change was pulling the trigger to scramble with your QB about 6 years ago.

Madden is not overrated, they have somewhat mastered football into a video game. There is only so much you can change each year with sports games.

As a consumer and gamer, I don't think the updated rosters, new gimmick, and the athlete on the cover warrant the $60 price tag. The value just isn't there.

it is overrated!

Madden hasn't really changed in at least 5-6 years... they just update the rosters, screw with some game mechanic, add a new animation or something, and still do nothing with the horrid AI...

Sorry, but if I saw Jon Beason strafing towards a tight end as soon as the ball was snapped, and not break out of that strafe position to actually cover the TE, I would be calling for his head on the Huddle...

last year was the first year I didn't buy it since it started coming out... I told myself I'd wait and buy it used or not buy another one until they gave it (especially the AI and misc. bugs) an overhaul...

      Good write up OP..... I may be the outlier here but I like our WR sans XL. Metchie is sneaky good and just like Dowdle last year he WILL BE the biggest under the radar singing of this year FA moves. I am warming up to the idea of Sadiq at 19 over defense. I'm just ready for every BY excuse to be gone, he doesn't have this or that. No he just sucks and we need to move on. Honestly I've said it before but this team has been depleted of so much talent over the years we really could go BPA and be fine. In DM I trust..........for now

      He's not Cam brother. Disrespectful to Cam at this point to keep mentioning them together. That's just my opinion. We all agree we need the young guys to step up. They have to varying degrees. But they're still learning. Especially the rookies. Guys like Miller and Moose need to take another step and we hope they will get there. Both need to add some bulk in the offseason. Kalk too. We can give them a little grace though. We extended the same courtesy to LaMelo in his earlier years. Many excuses were afforded to him. I agree completely that we need to see both offensive evolution and development under Lee. I feel like the team in some aspects has taken a step back at times under his watch. That can't continue. I hope it all comes together. We'll see. But that clock is ticking and there should be NO excuses after this upcoming season. No more embarrassment please.
