I'm sure it's not a coincidence that we play the Steelers every year.

And we get to look forward to 30,000 fat Steeler fans taking over BofA during that final preseason game. :(

is this a good sign for an nfl next year? lets hope so...im anxious to see when and if they will release the regular season sched.

Read in USA Today this morning that the NFL is going to move forward with their regularly scheduled release dates for team schedules and the like.

That's been off the table for a while now. Players would not agree to it.

you're right, the players didn't agree to it, but I don't think that was an agreement with the owners. One analyst was saying that until there is a new CBA in place, everything is still on the table.. (technically)

Is it just me or do we play the Steelers in the preseason every year? It seems like the past couple of years we've been playing them in the preseason, or maybe I'm just confused.

i'm not surprised at how few of you know why we play the steelers every year for game 4 of the preseason. Richardson and Rooney are great friends, and obviously they chose game 4 because starters play so little and there is less risk for injury to them.

also we'll likely never see a preseason game vs a west team. no one wants to travel that far just for an exhibition.

Not really, no chance any changes of that magnitude would be put into place this soon.

they like it that way. we stay on the east coast. we play mostly the afc which means we face opponents that we don't in the regular season. usually. travel is kept to a minimum. so we'll play afc north and east opponents every year. i'd put money on it.
