Thomas Davis

So what does everyone think of Thomas Davis's return this year? Will he be the guy he once was or do you guys see him getting hurt again? Or could he live out the rest of his NFL as an average player?

The dude brings the pain and I want him back.

Secondly what are your thoughts on Everette Brown? I hope he is strong enough now to bring another dimension to his game. Greg Hardy will surely beat him out if he doesn't step up big. I have 100% confidence in Hurney to resign CJ so I think the stakes are high on Brown this year, especially with a new staff.

I'm really excited to see our talent show under a competent staff. I'd like to see Rivera bring a mean streak to the team and get our balls back.

I have high hopes for brown this year. didn't he have something like 3 or 4 sacks in his last 4 or five games? i think it started to come together for him before he got hurt.

and i have a feeling davis will be fine. he just needs to stop practicing without a knee brace and he'll be good.

He had 1.5 in his last 7. It was the tackles that were really starting to pour on.

2.5 in his last 4 before he got hurt. and i think he got hurt early in the last game he played so hypothetically he could have had more. he seemed like something clicked those last few games. hopefully he can carry it over to this year.

then again, maybe i'm just being hopelessly optimistic

Yes, it did seem like it and he was getting a lot of attention for it.

Hmmmm....not trying to be argumentative, but NFL.com has him with .5 in his last 4 games of 2009. He had 1.5 In the 7 games he played that season.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
