I agree about the spoiler stuff... if you don't want spoilers, don't check the thread until after you've seen the episode.

Obviously those of us that have read the books know what's happening in general, but they are changing a few things, like Bronn training with Jaime.

I've read all the books and I can't keep up with all the poo going on.  The rest of this season will be insane if they even remotely follow the rest of SoS.

If Joffery's little brother is the one who takes the throne now what reason would the Tyrell's or w/e have to poison Joffery if they were about to marry into the royal family? I thought it was Sansa that did it when she picked up the cup to give to Tyrion, atleast i kinda hope it was her. She seemed in a hurry to leave too.

Of course she would be in a hurry to leave even if she didn't do the poisoning. She's trapped in a place where the people have murdered her entire family and most around here are happy with that. She just saw her family get mocked.

Anyone would want to leave.

They changed the hairpiece into a necklace, which Dontos gave her in the Godswood last week. Olenna even touched the necklace and you can see a stone missing from it after that. It was very subtle.

Absolutely she did...

I went back and watched it several times, and I think you can even see the point in which Margaery slips it into his cup...

The ramifications of this would be a little more huge than in the books IMHO... Since we don't have a real precedent for

Littlefinger discussing anything with the Tyrell's, really

I think it was a really good episode and, again, we see people portraying their characters perfectly...

Spoilerish info to follow, but I'm not gonna block it out because it isn't too spoilery....

I'm eager to see if Shae really did make it on the ship to Pentos, or if Bronn has been bought out by a higher bidder/higher power... My hunch is she didn't and, in a way, I don't want Bronn to be in on that plot... He's been pretty damn loyal and a friend to Tyrion, and I'd hate to see the true sellsword come out in him...

I thought Bran's sequence seemed a little rushed, but was really glad they did it the way they did...

Does anyone know the actor that plays Tommen?  There was a blond kid sitting next to Tyrion at the wedding but he looked too skinny.

Tommen was actually recast coming into this season...

He is played by Dean-Charles Chapman

It seems Bronn has made more money off Tyrion than anyone could offer to betray him, especially now that Jaime is paying him too.  It just wouldn't make sense.

Joffrey's antics at the wedding were on the verge of being too over the top for me.  It's hard to think someone could be that much of a twat waffle, but I guess they were just giving him one more demonstration of douchebaggery before sending him off.

It wasn't that over the top for me...  a person with a personality like Joffrey's (and we've all met them) given that situation, of being king and able to do literally anything he wants, I can certainly see it.

That's pretty much how he was portrayed in the novels, a sniveling whiny little bitch of a teenager with actual power, that people like Tywin and Cersei (among others) put up with because he's their path to that same power.

Maybe, but keep in mind that:

A- Joffrey was probably a little drunk

B- he had bought into his own hype, and

C- Tyrion has bitchsmacked him twice and has taken multiple opportunities to remind Joffrey of his cowardice during the battle of Bridgewater and has not shied away from his own bitterness that his plan and his heroics in that same battle have been ignored

Yeah I understand Joffrey's hatred for Tyrion, it was more the thing with the midgets.  He offended the hell out of every single person there.  The show went about as far as they could go without me thinking this is just silly now.
