I thought it was another good episode... It's hard to top Joff's death, so I'm sure people were probably a little down on this week's episode...

There's a lot of controversy on the Jaime/Cersei scene... so much so that GRRM had to comment on it...

I enjoyed seeing Littlefinger again... Enjoyed Hound/Arya as usual... Sam does a great job portraying that character too... liked the Wildling sequence...

Did it seem to you like his accent was off a lil bit from previous episodes?

Yeah definitely. Could be because he wasn't in the past season much or this season at all so far. Or could be a conscious choice to show that he drops his act when he's out of King's Landing.

I was a bit put off by their interaction, really. I think there should have been at least a moment of him being the brave rescuer before it becomes clear that he's actually creepily into Sansa. But in the show they had him all over her from the moment she stepped onto his rape-barge.

Not one comment on "Breaker of Chains"?  Not one?

Charles Dance was absolutely brilliant in the episode.  Even more so than usual.

His dialogue with Tommen was freaking great.

The J&C rapey inscest scene next to their son's dead body afterwards kind overshadowed it though

Pie for rape-barge.

Hmm, I didn't think about that. That could very well be. I am very interested to see how it goes once they get to

the Eyrie and how the Lysa storyline unfolds in the show

Yeah I read a thing from the director saying "Well Cersei relents and encourages him" or something like that. I think they tried to make it like the books but just failed horribly.

Elio from westeros.org broke down a lot of the body language and thinks it was meant to be a case of Cersei pretending to say no while really getting off on it, and the whole "it's wrong!" thing was like saying "I've been a bad girl," basically ironically being weird for sex reasons.

Makes sense but not something that's easy to get across on screen.
