I had to go back and Wiki some of Dany's stuff... I think it was her absence in book 4 that threw me off as to how she ended book 3 (I thought she didn't make it into Mereen until ADWD.)

Also, one of the things I hinted about in my previous post (concerning someone in her immediate party) hasn't happened yet and I thought it happened before now in the books... Come to find out it should have kinda happened last night or very soon.

They are really going to have to pull a lot of stuff from thin air on a lot of these storylines to be able to move forward, tbqh... They are almost at a point where you'll be almost done with Dany's ADWD stuff by the end of this season. Bran is pretty much blazing through ADWD territory by the end of this season too. Arya seems to be close, as do Brienne, Pod, and maybe even Jon getting close.

I have a feeling if they keep it up, they are going to have to make up a lot as they go for season 5 or they are going to have to be heavily featuring some of the stuff we haven't seen yet... like the Greyjoys... I don't see how lots of people think that those characters can be cut... Will we see them, more Dornish folk, etc. for the majority of next season? I hope that doesn't turn a lot of people off of the show because they are so used to following the current featured cast...

I think that is why book 4 was a harder read for me than the rest... because we have these new people that we haven't heard much out of yet... plus the letdown of the Red Wedding...

I'm considering going back and rereading book 4 just to see if I can get a grasp of what they've got in their plans moving forward...

They've still got things to do with Dany, they can

have her kick Jorah out, it maybe later than in the books but still time for him play the same role with Tyrion.  Plus we still have to show the sons of the harpy, dragons killing things, drogon leaving, Daario banging, Kraznys marriage, reopening the fighting pits, drogon returning, dany leaving, dany going crazy, and dany meeting khal whats his face before we catch up to the books.  And I think the battle of Mereen will be the end of next season, so that seems like enough to keep her busy.

I think some of your timelines are off. I may have to double check but Arya is still firmly in ASOS. Her book 4&5 stuff is

learning to be "no one"

Again I am not 100% sure.

see my recent post in the book thread...

It may be that CH is ultimately just a plot device himself...

Don't get me wrong, I want to see him on screen still just because he's cool...

I kinda like the creepy Jojen "sight" thing...

Nobody's said it yet that I've seen on the webz, so I will coin it here...

They replaced Coldhands with... ... ... ... ...  Firehand... lol...

speaking of coldhands...

does anyone else think that he's

Benjen Stark

I think that is very likely

Btw..this last episode was one of my favorites in a while.  Great dialogue between Cersei and Margarie, Tywin being a boss as usual, Danaeryus making that step (

I wonder how long till Jorah is kicked out essentially

), and up in the north just keeps getting better imo.  That final duel was great especially the stabbing.  badass Snow.

he is most likely not imo.   bran doesn't recognize him.  he's "been dead a long time".

Seems like they never showed his face in the texts, and 2 years could be a long time. I dunno, it was the first thing that I thought. I've been wrong before tho for sure.

I'm not following this at all.  She's pretty much been forced into any situation she's been apart of...unless you're referring to the fact that she initially wanted to go to King's Landing in the first season.  Even so, what high-born girl wouldn't want to go?

She was being a brat and disobeying her parents and fawning all over that douche Joffery. You reap what you sew.
