If we trade 2 3rds and a 4th to draft ryan mallet i will be epically pissed, i find that doubtful anyways since mallet was "sick" when the panthers were supposed to meet with him.

hmmm...that's actually one of the better panthers' mock drafts i've seen...the only discrepancy is the steep price for mallet.

rotoworld doesn't "slip up." This story has been out there for some time. While it's possible Softli still has inside info it's just as likely he's speculating based on what he thinks Hurney would do from working with him in the past.

I would rather have impact players right now this year

that will be making plays for us like Dareus or A.J.Green

then someone who hasn't got a clue and will take years to develop.

Also I would feel better as a Panther Fan to have Dareus or Green

as the "Face of our Franchise" then a proven thief,liar and cheat.'

What better way to cause a guy you want to fall to you to do so than to spread a rumor about him skipping a meeting when in reality he was legitimately sick?

Chud met with him that morning and recommended he cancel his visit, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually ill.

Which makes him so desirable to some. We dont have to make him our "leader"/"representative" like we would a QB.
