Every single Gabbert play in 3 games

here's a rogue scout's take on Gabbert.

“What does this guy do that anybody likes?” Dave Razzano asks, pressing the rewind button. “Every pass is an underneath curl route! It’s third-and-10 in the red zone – throw a [expletive] touchdown pass. But look at this: A three-yard dump-off. That’s all he does. He threw the ball just about every play, and he had 16 touchdown passes last season.

note that he isn't high on newton either, but it just says for the red flags. Also thinks Locker is the next Favre lol.

if this needs it's own thread someone can make it..

Being a VT fan I might be a little biased but I think Tyrod is better than Cam. If VT would have went undefeated Tyrod would be in Cam's place right now and no one would even be talking about Cam. Tyrod reminds me so much of the CURRENT Michael Vick that it isn't even funny. Ty is a game winner and a game changer. Without him we would have just been mediocre the last 3 years. I'm gonna miss him :(

Yea, Taylor is a beast, he's very underrated. People knock him and say that maybe he might not be able to play QB in the NFL and might need to switch positions. I don't know what people are basing his criticisms on, he was great this year and solid as a junior too.

He reminds me of Vick too except a little bit slower and slightly less elusive, but still very fast and elusive altogether. I called Vick having a great year this past season and I'm calling Tyrod becoming very good in his NFL career.

The two QBs I like the most is Ricky Stanzi and Newton, I think they would fit well with the kind of offense the Panthers run.

Ricky Stanzi:

(VS Missouri) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPeOx...eature=related

(VS Michigan State) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHjfp...eature=related

Cam Newton:

(VS Kentucky) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZVlg...el_video_title

(VS Alabama) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIZ9S...layer_embedded

(VS LSU) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlHtF...feature=relmfu

The favorite thing for me about Tyrod (being both a grad/undergad student at VT for the last 5 years) is how much he actually developed from a run first QB into a legitimate & accurate pocket passer. Every year he improved in nearly every facet of his game, learned to make less mistakes, and proved that he can be a solid QB in the NFL that doesn't rely on his feet to win games. Tyrod is the man and I actually see him being that project QB for New England, Indy, or maybe even a team like the Jaguars that can do really well down the road and I hope the best for him. I just hope to god he doesn't turn out like a Pat White.

Nah Tyrod is leaps and bounds better than Pat White. Also Tyrod comes from a pro-style offense, while Pat White came from a Rich Rodriguez spread-option.

While these may be highlights, you can see the level of maturity and how his passing game has improved over the years. Coming in during the LSU game while we were clearly overmatched and scored the only touchdown for tech after Sean Glennon was pulled from the game, he's come a long way.

So Cam only threw deep shots, and Gabbert thew check downs, yet Cam still had a higher completion %.

Gabbert must be even worse than I thought.

Cam only threw the ball like 14 times a game, of course he had a higher completion percentage lol.

Not to mention his wrs were almost always wide open.

14 was his lowest att per game. He actually averaged 20 att per game. The most he threw was 34 and that was in the championship game.

"Not to mention his wrs were almost always wide open"

I will have to strongly disagree with this. You can post some evidence if you like to prove otherwise though.

My mistake on that one. Still, 20 a game he is going to have a better completion percentage.

I would link you to a specific video, but I am at work thus blocking me from youtube.

No big deal. Do you work the night shift somewhere? Or do you live on the west coast? (even though 12:30 is still considered late)

I work 11pm-7am, so yeah, night shift. Love the job though and have worked this schedule my whole working career, so no complaints.

Also, I am sure you can guess where I live. Lol

I am going to go out on a limb here and guess some where in the Carolinas. You also possibly could live in Colorado or have lived their in the past/ have some affiliation with the area.
