How much more does Smith have anyway?

Depends, if he has a some good Wr around him he will be good for 4 years. If not he will fall off fast. Thats why it does not make since. I could understand being traded after next year but this year is a new coach and a new system that could benefit him. He also has two Good WRs to help him out. Just seems like a selfish knee jerk reaction if you ask me.

Hines Ward doesn't have sh1t on Steve Smith. If Smith went to a team like GB or the Colts he would be re-energized. I think you'd see him play like the guy of old for probably a season or two at least.

I just meant that Ward is 35. Smitty has a lot left to give NFL fans, unlike some people on here think. He may not always be a #1, but if Ward is still putting up stats at 35, I see Smith doing the same.

I think Smitty still has 80-85% of his prime-level production left in him. He did have an abnormally large amount of drops last year, but honestly those seemed to start coming later in the season and I chalked it up to him being so surprised the ball was actually thrown his way he would freeze for a second.
