In fact there are other leagues where the NFL gets it's QBs.

timmy chang has the most tds in NCAA history iirc. he wasnt even drafted. meanwhile, the skins are trying to trade up to number 2 to get a guy that threw 16 tds last year. college stats barely mean poo and you should feel bad if you think they do

IF they draft Newton (like i think they will) and he fails in his rookie year and they end up with the top pick there's a chance it could be in 2012, but i only say a chance. the Panthers may pass on Luck if they have the top pick again.

i will support the team and the pick no matter who it is, but i still dont predict good things for Newton, especially if he starts his rookie year. First off, he's a rookie and second the schedule is VERY tough for him to do great. he is a major risk, i want him to go out and play great and win 10 games, but i can only see 4 or 5 wins, maybe 6 wins at best.
