DeMarcus is kicking that ASS!!!

Smith. You remember the stories of the Y2K bug?

Reporter. Yes, but we didn't know if those stories were true at the time.

Smith. But, now you do!

Hilarious!

Freakin Goodell is a moron and a buffoon.

They're both bafoons who are crippling the league, neither gives a poo about the fans.

Smith and the players along with the federal courts are the only reason the fans will have football in 2011. Goodell won't even commit to that. He says he will work his butt off, but all I've seen him do is lockout players. How's that helping?

Everytime I see a picture of DeMarcus, I wonder how good it would be to punch him in the mouth and if him being a little b**ch and suing me would be worth it. In the end, I find that it probably would feel damn good to do it.

Sometimes what is best in the short term is the worst in the long term. As a fan of the game, I wouldn't mind missing some games or a whole season as long as what is fair for both the players and the league gets done.

It was what was best for the short term that was done last time the CBA was agreed upon that brought us to here.

And if we get football, but the draft is done away with next season and salary caps are eliminated, I'm sure the NFL will be so great.

But, hey, at least Smith was kickin dat, yeah dawg!

DeMaurice Smith, using legal tactics, media blitzing, and outright lies, has managed to back the NFL into a situation that could potentially destroy competativeness and parity in the league, and financially cripple it to the point it collapes.

He sure is kicking that ass.

Tool.

The courts have consistently sided with the players. Looks like they're the ones in the right here.

So when the 8th Circuit overturns the lower court the owners will be in the right??

Just because two lower court federal judges sided with the players up to this point means absolutely nothing in regards to who's in the right.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
