Honestly I'm not that impressed with the Panthers draft. Mine would have gone something like this.

3.1 (#65 overall) Trade for future 2nd. If I'm stuck with it I'd probably take Hankerson or Reid.

If you hadn't noticed the panthers ranked last in every offensive category last year... so obviously you go QB if you don't have one.

So if you wouldn't have picked Cam, would you have picked Locker, Ponders, Dalton, or Mallett?

I like that we finally had the balls to step out on a limb and draft an athlete/personality like Newton. Had it been up to me however I would have either strongly considered taking Peterson first overall and probably ended up pulling the trigger on him instead of Newton or I would have traded down to some where around 10-15 to pick up a much needed 2nd rounder, and would have probably ended up taking Nick Fairley or Phil Taylor with my pick in the first.

I can't believe you guys would waste #1 overall on a CB or WR. That blows my mind. Both positions rarely last long. And unless you're getting a guaranteed Jerry Rice or Champ Bailey, you're out of your mind.

Our Draft was okay I guess... I really had the fact that we missed out on some really good talent left in the 2nd round because we didnt have that 33rd overall pick.... getting Marvin Austin would have really made me a happy Panther Fan.... the last time we picked up a tar heel he turned out to be a really awesome player.
