Thomas Davis must reall be something special...

Recommended Posts

He IS something special. What I find difficult to digest is a player that is such a stand out at his position, so replacible at any position other than the first.

It is safe to say that the majority of panther fans don't know how to judge their way out of a wet paper bag, ...they couldn't judge their way out of round 1 of a draft 20 years ago.

I'm too dumb to understand this. Give me some pie if you are also too dumb to understand this.

The fact Riv was a LB himself and thinks so highly of TD speaks volumes. He is one of those guys who is a true leader on the field and off. I'm glad these new defensive players we drafted have leaders like Davis and Beason to look up to and get help from. Now I just want him to ease into training camp and take it easy at first so we don't have anymore problems. I promise the past two years or so Wofford has been cursed.

He is worth taking a chance on from his injuries if he is not asking a fortune.

The guy is a great player and a positive guy in the locker room

I'm confident that TD really does want to be here and knows that he has a history of injury and won't get offered big bucks anywhere. We'll give him a good deal not blockbuster and not what he would have gotten if he was healthy but he will be a Panther for a long time.

My son spoke to him after he blew out his knee at the OTA last year. He wasn't limping, just walking back toward the stadium with a trainer. TD was very upset, but my son had no idea. He asked him for his autograph. TD apologized to him kindly, saying that it was a bad time. It was later in the day when we learned he was injured. That was the moment the season started falling apart.

TD is a great teammate. He is a 240 lb LB who runs a 4.4 40. We need to keep him here.

When Carolina drafted him he was a safety and I was very suspect when the team said they were going to make him a LB.

Didn't take but a season for me to see how wrong my initial impression was and what a stud this guy is.... can't wait for him to get back on the field.
