Yes, it's him having cancer, if you're asking what the issue was with him not being taken this weekend.

Apparently, it's in remission but an come back. You have to think of guys like Mark Fields, who suffered from Hodgkin's and was in and out as a player with us. That is what teams have to be prepared with, when drafting a guy like Herzlich.

On the other side, Fields - and apparently Herzlich too - are great guys in the locker room and just big "team guys". I think he'll find a home somewhere, but with the possibility of a lockout next year and free agency up in the air, teams couldn't afford to spend picks on players in certain situations such as Herzlich.

I think it has more to do with the steel rod they put in his leg, and he may have lost some of his speed because of it. Hopefully the Panthers will convince him to come here once the labor issues are over. We need to get this guy and Ricardo Lockette.

He's shown that he's back 100% physically, I'd love to have him here, should server as great inspiration for any team.

Besides all this, he's a really good player. He'd be great on ST's immediately and a very solid back up. He has good speed and power, can drop into cvg and rush the passer, technically sound tackler.

Now that I think about it this probably isn't a place he'd want to come to.

We're pretty stacked at LB... Beason, Davis, Anderson, Connor, Norwood, Wilson.

As a fan of him I want him to sign where he has a chance to make a team.

I'd love to have him... pre-cancer. The problem is that he just wasn't the same player this year that he was before, which is why he went undrafted.

He'll get a chance to make a team after the lock-out, but it will probably be an up-hill climb.
