Can we just fire all of our coaches temporarily? At least the QB and WR coach... They then could get to work with our youngest core. Never going to happen but it has to be possible and legal.

I'm not sure of why Free Agents aren't allowed to talk to the coaches but I do know that every drafted player recieved a contract tender offer yesturday. Thus they are players and subject to the rules of the lockout. This was mandated by the last CBA and the reason there was a draft in the first place. Otherwise there wouldn't have been a draft during the lockout.

The free agent question is a good one though...

I would assume that the rules state something about prospective players, players not under contract, players under contract, and future players.

Sorry didn't mean to give pie, Im on my phone and my fingers hit the button on accident. I'm pretty sure the league would drop the hammer on us if they found out we were working with him and stuff like that during the lockout. I think the Patriots lost their second rounder when the spygate saga happened I can seem them rampin that up over the lock out...He's got his playbook so thats a start let's hope he comes back to Charlotte to work out with Kalil and the rest of the guys at Velocity(which Smitty is a co-owner of BTW)
