Mac vs. Windows

For those of you who've had experiences with both systems: Which do you prefer?

I'm looking to get an all in one computer. I see that Macs have very positive reviews, so I'm thinking about jumping ship from PC to Mac. Is the learning curve to the Mac OS pretty hard?

If money is not an issue: Mac.

but I will say that I still don't know all the keyboard shortcuts(which you need to know for manual shutdown and resets) because I work on PC all day.

If you delight in the pr0n sites I have found that I can roam pretty freely and haven't really encountered viruses on the Mac. One thing that does suck is that replacement parts are only made by apple so it is expensive and I believe once the computers says its done there is no way to fix it..but I dunno.

PC gives you double the performance for half the price. No brainer.

That is very much false. You do usually get more bang for your buck with PCs though(depending on your level of expertise in dealing with PCs).

The real answer is linux. Unless you're a PC gamer there's not a whole lot of reasons not to use Ubuntu. It's gotten easy enough for the masses now.

I switched to mac about 5 years and would never go back to pc. My mac never freezes, crashes and the battery life on my mac-top is over 6 hours.

Take into account the average pc lasts about three years and the average mac lasts over 6 I think we have a winner. The experience is just better.

Everybody's got a different experience... my current main stereo (3D) PC workstation running Windows XP was built in 2003 and is still running strong.

    • Wanting that type of play and being okay with paying $55 million a season for it are two entirely different things. If Bryce were to become the same player Purdy has been, then he would surpass my expectations of him and I'd be okay with him as our QB of the future (and again, I've long been one of the bigger anti Bryce people here who doesn't think he is capable of being our long term solution). But in no world would I be okay with paying him THAT kind of money, paying an average starter elite money is just a terrible decision.
    • I don't think they can overcome that mistake. Hell Lance was a hiccup compared to this. He isn't going to be able to carry that price tag and now he is going to have to do just that. Lol. The NFL is so dumb sometimes.
    • So, one could say that T-Mac is quicker than someone of his size should be and while he might not be quite as fast as Evans in the 40, he's more athletic than Evans. If only someone, anyone, could have seen that in his tape and mentioned that on here, hmmmmmmm In all seriousness, hearing he tested in the 89th percentile in that drill at his size is crazy impressive.  Just tried to look up the times of the top WRs in the league right now, most don't show at time for that, but I did see Chase ran his in 7 seconds flat. I honestly don't know how true this is, but I do remember seeing one breakdown of his tape and the person said he has quiet and efficient feet.  That he's really good at using the minimal steps possible to make his cuts and because of that, it actually makes him look slower to the human eye because you don't see all the quick chop steps that the guys like Tyreek would use in their running. I'm still in a state of disbelief that he's a Panther and it might not fully hit me until week 1 and I see him out there making plays for us, still feels like Goodell is going to just be like, "YOU GOT PUNKED!!!  hahaha, he's a Cowboy now, suck it"
