Just paid my truck off...didnt cost me a dime.

I only owed $2,100 on it and some dude backs into it and knocks the poo out of it in the parking lot a couple of weeks ago. His insurance company sent me a check for around $2,400 to repair it,,, my dad fixed it for me for around $150 (used some bondo, lol) anyway the truck looks great and it's now paid off!! WOOT!!

I'm almost debt free!

This is the 2nd accident in 6 months and the 1st repair check I got paid quite a bit of it down and my lawyer called me and we should be settling soon with that and I should be getting a nice chunk of change.

It's good to have a dad who is retired that restores vehicles as a hobby and he doesn't charge me.

Nice! Does your dad live in the lowcountry? I just had a minor accident with my bumper (small dent and scratch). I took it to get an estimate and they were like $800! I did the best I could to it, but would like to get it fixed up professionally. The person who hit it was none other that my wife BTW!!!
