Tiki Barber Compares Himself to Holocaust Victim

Tiki Barber brought all of his misfortunes on himself.

No one made him quit football early and no one made him cheat on his pregnant wife.

I really didn't think that Tiki was this much of an asshat.

I hope he gets cancer on his nuts.

way to inflame the hell out of the title. tiki barber actually technically compared his agent to anne frank, because he was hiding in the the attic and was jewish. poor choice of words but no sane person who reads the whole article comes away thinking barber compared himself and his situation to hiding from the nazis.

but sew his mouth shut/cancerize his nuts/send him to hell etc.

Hopefully, Tiki gets all this straightened out and gets back on the right track. I hope he's able to catch on with a NFL team and continue his career. Shouldn't have retired in the first place, but I'm rooting for him.

As far as his "Anne Frank" comment, meh... Probably shouldn't have said it, but it's definitely being blown out of proportion.

It is being blown up as a big thing because the holocaust was such an abomination to all mankind. As long as there are jewish people to remember and retell the holocaust there is the belief it won't happen again. They are very sensitive to it being trivialized and forgotten.

I don't think his comments were meant to trivialize the Anne Frank situation, but I think he has to be more aware as to how sensitive the topic is.

    • This is what I mean. I am not some huge BY fan. I honestly don't look at QBs the way a lot of you guys do. Right or wrong, I've always looked at them as just another cog in the machine. Didn't want BY or even a trade up for a QB in 2023. We saw in the Super Bowl how important the rest of the team is on any given Sunday. Now... so PFF, who has no reason to prop up BY, says he's first in 2 stat lines and Panthers "fans" are arguing why it's either wrong or a made up stat just to make BY look good. Even though they have multiple stat lines where he's literally last in. Like 32nd in the NFL. Some he's even lower than 32. Take a step back. Try to objectively self analyze. This is just not sensible.  Same thing I see with other teams' fans and their QBs though. We analyze every single throw on every single play. For every other QB, most here are only using highlights to judge. Makes a difference. We saw Stafford miss throws when they played Carolina - both games. We saw Love throw crap up when they played Carolina. We saw Dak miss throws when they played Carolina - and Pickens was putting on a SHOW. We saw Josh Allen win a game with 163 yards passing against Carolina, but if BY does it he's crap and can't pass for 200 yards. Gents... come on.
    • None of us think we're contenders this season but no reason we're doomed to 5 or 6 wins either. Dan has to have another 2025- like draft class and at least 2 key free agent signings. We're not Seattle but they don't win without 5 starters from their last 2 draft classes and Darnold and Lawrence in free agency.  Alas,  we'll have to wait one more season for a QB upgrade.
    • I've got nothing else to say really than: Ayup. Here we are again. Again.  All we can really hope for is progress. If we improve as much again, it'll be good. If we don't, it'll be foretold.
