What fools we have been

Football is a great sport. I loved playing it. I love watching it. I'm excited about a home team, the Panthers.

Now that we have a possibility of no football it hurts. It hurts thinking about how the players and owners are treating us, the fans. We made them what they are. The money came from us. The squabble over millions of dollars is pathetic. Get it settled! Those that put you where you are are growing impatient.

“The Panthers are going to be like everybody else and [Newton's] going to be like everybody else, so we all have to adjust and deal with what we have to deal with,” Richardson said at the ownership meetings, per Pro Football Weekly. “I’m not really overly stressed out about it, personally. We’re all playing by the same rules, Richardson said. If we weren’t, then it would be a different deal."

See, Big Daddy Cat thinks everything is just hunky-dory. The rules are the same so all you hand wringing fans can just find another hobby until JR says so..

Missing OTA's, no problem.

Unable to install an offense AND defense, no problem.

Unable to coach your franchise QB? No problem. Cause we're all playing by the same rules, that's all that matters.

Big Daddy is sleeping soundly and so should you..:cryin:

    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
