Moore to the Dolphins?

This happens every time Moore is brought up, people try and discredit his wins.

He played 3 teams in the playoffs in 2009, lost to the Patriots in New England by 7 points in the rain/snowy conditions, beat the other two, also beat the Bucs, and we beat the Saints who were resting starters.

During that stretch he played Freeman, Brady, Manning, Favre, and Mark Brunell.

He looked better than all of them. Pats were fighting for position, Giants were fighting for their lives in the last game in their stadium, and Vikes were fighting for home field advantage. Bucs as a division game in his first start then the Saints resting starters.

Not a bad stretch of games and definitely not meaningless for us or the opponents.

Keep hating.

Oh yeah, Smitty, Moore and DWill to the Dolphins because all 3 think the Cam pick was a joke then the Panthers move to LA and you guys go back to rooting for the Bobcats.

You aren't a Panther fan you're a Moore fan. And a major dickhead.

Let Moore go to the Dolphins, he'd have a better chance at starting imo. In the 2009 season when Moore took the reigns from Delhomme, he had his cards dealt, and acted according. He came up to the plate, yes. However you saw what happened when he started at the beginning of the season, he didn't do that great. When he came back in the 49ers game, Moore once again had the cards dealt and you saw what he did. Moore is not a starter, at least not for me.

Still, Moore > Clausen for 2nd string.

'Fins fans are laughing at the notion, and would seemingly rather stick with Henne than take Moore.

So much for TRD's "Every other Franchise in the NFL is pining for the oppurtunity to sign the only and only MATT MOORE!"

The guy's a chump. TRD I mean. Matt just isn't a good player, but at least seems like a decent person so I won't rag him out.

Oh, and the notion of Smitty following Moore somewhere is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. As is the notion that DeWill would even consider going to a team with Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, and a 2011 2nd Round Draft Pick. But I'd expect that kind of blind homerism from TRD, so I can't say I'm suprised.

Why you so bitter? I never said all teams want him, but there will be a few opportunities for him to start out there in the league.

I don't know how you know "Matt just isn't a good player" and I don't want to debate you about it.

I can't say I'm surprised that you missed the whole joke and take this as a serious thread concerning Smith and DWill.

I guess when you have nothing to stand on, you should join the crowd and sensationalize my posts so you can fit in with everyone else. Somehow, knowing what I know about you, THAT doesn't surprise me in the least.

in 2007 and 2009 Moore did great. Had we put Moore in sooner in 2009 who knows what would have happened.

2010 He Sucked and So did Clausen!!! Why did he suck so bad in 2010 and our rookie QB was terrible. To me it doesn't add up. To me the problem lies with the coaching staff or the lack there of. NOT the players.

Which is why I believe Moore will end up a starter somewhere and Clausen will show he is an NFL caliber QB. We know the haters are gonna love this and give me the "Clausen Suck...Career Backup...Clausen garbage and blah blah blah. Clasusen will be better than what many of you all believe.

If Moore goes to Miami... He'll beat out Henne and start in Miami and do well.

Why would Moore back up Vick when he could back up Cam Newton? Vick is a proven starter who has played at a very high level. He's actually got a chance to start here, or at least come in if Newton gets hurt for a third consecutive year.

    • https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/versatile-2nd-db-named-panthers-154026075.html Smith-Wade's ability to play corner, nickel and safety makes him valuable to a young defense trying to rebuild after finishing last in the NFL a year ago. "Chau took advantage of an opportunity,'' coach Dave Canales said. "He made tackles. He had an opportunity on an interception, and he made it.'' Our defense has got to come alive for us to have a chance of winning our Division!
    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.
