Steve Smith impressed with Ron Rivera

Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith said he came away impressed after meeting with head coach Ron Rivera. 'When I met Ron I would say they maybe sold him short. He's great, a great guy,' Smith said. 'My first meeting with him was pretty good, it was outstanding. I walked away very impressed.'

There's still a chance that Smith stays with the Panthers this year. The team would be ready to move on without him as they drafted three WRs in the 2010 NFL Draft. If Smith does move on then teams like the Chargers, Ravens, and Patriots could be interested.

Hopefully he continues to see the movement we have going on in Carolina and will want to be apart of it. He still has a few good years in him left, given a healthy backfield, a healthy Shockey, a solid #2 WR, and solid QB play, Smith can easily have another 1,000 yard season. Given there is a season. Go Panthers! :)

Apparently you don't understand ether. Terrell Sutton went on a religious rant about a month ago, stating he's agnostic. I used it in the right context, you just couldn't grasp what I was getting at, and that's fine.
