Injuries are not in this equation, everyone is healthy. Free agent additions in bold. If we were to roll this squad out in Arizona, would you be happy?

RT - Jeff Otah

RG - Evan Mathis (Cinci)

C - Ryan Kalil

LG - Travelle Wharton

LT - Jordan Gross

TE - Jeremy Shockey

WR - Steve Smith

WR - Braylon Edwards (NYJ)

RB - Johnathan Stewart

FB - Tony Fiametta

QB - Cam Newton

DE - Charles Johnson/Tyler Brayton (Rotation)

DE - Travis Johnson (SD)/Greg Hardy (Rotation)

DT - Barry Cofield (NYG)/Ed Johnson (Rotation)

DT - Terrell McClain/Derek Landri/Sione Fua (Rotation)

Will - Thomas Davis

Mike - Jon Beason

Sam - Dan Connor

SS - Charles Godfrey

WS - Sherrod Martin

CB - Chris Gamble

CB - Johnathan Joseph (Cinci)

*Also, in my scenario at University of Phoenix Stadium, Armanti Edwards is not there because he is coaching receivers at App State after Pilares ran him off the squad and the Everette Brown trade/pick was a nightmare that never happened.

Pretty close to the way I have it except I have a strong hunch that we get Chris Chester at RG and Eric Wright at CB (After reading the posts by NJPanther). And since Norwood is now going to be a DE, I think we would go after 1 more DT (after Cofield). Probably Okoye. Overall, I like it except for Mathis.

This is what I have my projection looking like so far:

OFFENSE:

WR1: Steve Smith - David Gettis - Armanti Edwards

LT: Jordan Gross - *Lee Ziemba*

LG: Travelle Wharton

C: Ryan Kalil - *Zack Williams*

RG: #Chris Chester# - Duke Robinson

RT: Jeff Otah - Geoff Schwartz

TE: #Jeremy Shockey# - Dante Rosario - Gary Barnidge

WR2: #Braylon Edwards# - Brandon LaFell - *Kealoha Pilares*

QB: *Cam Newton* - Matt Moore - Jimmy Clausen

FB: Tony Fiammetta

RB: DeAngelo Williams - Jonathan Stewart - Mike Goodson

DEFENSE:

LE: Charles Johnson - Everette Brown

DLT: #Amobi Okoye# - *Terrell McClain* - *Sione Fua*

DRT: #Barry Cofeild# - Derek Landri

RE: Greg Hardy - Eric Norwood

SLB: James Anderson - *Lawrence Wilson*

MLB: Jon Beason - Dan Connor

WLB: Thomas Davis - Jamar Williams

LCB: Chris Gamble - Captain Munnerlyn

RCB: #Eric Wright# - Robert McClain - *Brandon Hogan*

SS: Charles Godfrey - Marcus Hudson

FS: Sherrod Martin - Jordan Pugh

SPECIAL TEAMS:

K: John Kasay

P/KO/H: Jason Baker

DS: J.J. Jansen - James Anderson - Gary Barnidge - Ryan Kalil

KR: Mike Goodson - David Gettis

PR: Captain Munnerlyn - Armanti Edwards

# = Free Agent

* = Draft Pick

You are all over it, but I am not sure they do not like Schwartz at RG. Heck, once he had a few weeks to adjust, he played well. Another player who quietly played well at the end of the season DT Neblett. Played Pouncey even.

Killer, I am not sure if Jamar Williams is still aboard. I think Jason Williams is. To lazy to check.

I think Rivera will find a way to get Connor on the field more--starting at SLB is my guess. However, if he uses the 3-4 more than we expect, he could be the LB who replaces a DT in those situations. Re-signing Connor will be impossible if he is not starting.

If Chud's offense doesn't require the guard to pull a lot then Schwartz and Otah would be a huge wall. But if Chud requires his guard to get out into space on the regular, then who knows.

    • Honestly I haven no idea what I would have even done last night, Edgecomb was the most realistic option to improve our team
    • He doesn't have the athleticism to play in the NBA. He had the worst numbers of anyone who worked out in this draft. He's legitimately the least athletic player in this draft, which is saying something.   His ceiling is Kyle Korver, with his lack of athleticism he's more likely to be out of the league in 5-6 years like Jimmer Fredette.
    • Well, he was in probably every NBA franchise's top 6 or 7. Obviously it's nice to take the swing and it work out. But when a guy refuses to work out for your team, is probably the guy refusing to play with LaMelo, has sketchy handlers, etc.? You want...to take that swing? A desperate team does, sure. Which the Hornets are. But a smart team doesn't. Which is what they will hopefully become.  Kon isn't a superstar, but his floor is Kyle Korver. Is that what you want in the 4th pick? Not really, but he's your 4th guy on a good team and what I think Charles Lee wants in a player.  Trade down would've been nice, but for who? Tre Johnson would've been my guy, but he's gone if we trade with Brooklyn. If Washington wanted Ace, I doubt it would've taken much to come get him. Trade down and get Maluach (knowing you're trading Mark) would make sense and may have been the play, but I think Kon helps the team on the court and changing a culture. Not so sure about some of the guys in the 8-12 range.
