New Coach new GM, guess they dont agree on everything. He was my favorite quarterback outta the draft a few years ago, so id love to see him under center next for carolina, but it wont happen, he has an arm, and we like to run the ball, would be a waste of a really good quarterback

You would rather keep someone that doesn't want to play for us any more and a washed up QB that's going to be one of the oldest starting quarterbacks in the league next year over a young Pro Bowl QB like Cutler? Think of the future here. Jake's contract is up after next year. QBs like Cutler aren't available that often, I'd rather cut ties with Jake a year early and go after Cutler than wait until next season and have no clue who the starting QB is going to be. One thing you can be certain of is if we draft a QB in 2010, he won't be as good as Cutler is at least not right away.

All of the reporters that actually know what goes on behind the scenes in the Panthers organization are convinced that Peppers won't be here next year. I can't think of a better trade than this actually. Aren't the Broncos going to the 3-4 or didn't they recently switch? I think Peppers would like to go there and I'm sure the Broncos would be glad to have him.
