Newton should be signed by tonight. $22mil over 4 years with nearly all of it guaranteed. There is not a whole lot of wiggle room on these rookie wage scales.. so it should be done before camp tomorrow.

holding out has pretty much been eliminated as there is very little room for rookies to negotiate. i would imagine we'd give newton the max as he was #1 overall. plus i am sure they want to get him to camp asap.
