Cam seems to be impressing all of the vets...Clausen must feel like a real piece of poo right now. Can you imagine? Kinda feel sorry for the guy but you know what..fug him for putting us through pure hell last season. He needs to develop elsewhere. Is Cleveland still in need of a good practice QB?

I mean, I realize that alot of things were out of place last year but he can't blame anyone but himself for all of the fumbles and turnovers. Not to mention his piss poor timing of the Receiving Routes, and then looking like the receivers were fugged up. I would have loved to have been on the bench when Smitty would spew poo at him just to catch his reaction.

Look, I am a big Armanti Edwards fan, huge even. But even I believe that we did the right thing in drafting Cam. I believe Cam can get 'er done. If I believe he can then that is totally unbiased. Clausen will never be an NFL starter except maybe a game or two this year. Never.

well...kalil had a few more things to say about him.

“We’ll be a West Coast offense, definitely,’’ Pro Bowl center Ryan Kalil said Monday afternoon. “But Cam’s a whole new aspect of it. No matter who wins that job, it’s going to be interesting. I’ve got to imagine, even if Jimmy’s the guy, they’re going to put in Cam and utilize him as well. I don’t know that for a fact. But just from what I’ve seen, I’d have to imagine that’s something they’re going to do. I can’t imagine them keeping him on the sidelines for a whole year. He’s too dynamic. At very least, they have to put in some packages for him and get him on the field.’’

Although it obviously is early in the process, Kalil said he’s been extremely impressed with what he’s seen from Newton.

about them running a WCO...that is what the coryell was originally called but the name got hijacked by some ignorant reporter and the name stuck with the other system. i'm guessing that is what he is referring to.

still....so much for him not having a clue and not being "ready"...at least kalil think's it's BS. but i guess those clown reporters and analysts who never bothered to look into the system there or take a real look at newton and talk to him and those that have worked with him to see what he is really capable of know more...right?

I understand the Hate on Jimmy, but I hope he turns himself around.

He is still in contention for the starting job, so he just needs to worry about himself and his game, and not worry about all the attention Cam is getting.

I REALLY hope Jimmy has a solid preseason, and if he gets some play time during the season he shows some good things. This will raise his trade value, or keep him with the Panthers in case Cam doesn't work out.
