in 2003 our division wasn't a power house like it is now

Really?? In 2003 TB were the defending SB champs, everyone was on Vick's jock just like they are in 2011, and NO were like the current Bucs who are seem as up and coming.

Sports Illustrated said our best shot of winning the division was dropping down into the ACC!!

People forget in time but when we were down 20-0 at halftime against the Jaguars in Week 1 in 2003, absolutely nobody (myself included) thought we were going anywhere that year.

You just never know. I don't think we are a playoff team but I am a lot more hopeful than I was a month ago.

I think we do need an upgrade a CB but that's just my opinion as a fan. But just for some perspective, we had Terry Cousin and Ricky Manning, Jr. in 2003. Not exactly All-Pros...

Blitzing only exposes the secondary. Cant blitz w/o corners who can play on an island.

pressure turns average corners into good corners. Turns bad corners into average corners.

again, this is speaking in overall terms b/c you are gambling with a weak secondary.

in 2003 our division wasn't a power house like it is now. Captain will not be able to cover Julio Jones/White. He won't be able to cover Colston or Mike Williams either

in 2003 we played Manning, ended the Greatest Show on Turf, etc. It ain't like the secondary didn't face talent then......

yep, and what happens when you pound and beat on QBs....duds like Ricky Manning Jr look like legendary players in the postseason.

Just listened to it. CB will not be a priority then. Next years draft we should get a good one.

I hate the fact that I can't listen Live to WFNZ... but i'm glad I can listen to podcasts.

I listen live on that site. Click the listen now link or get the tune in radio app on ur phone

Man I dunno how anyone can see Munny going against the big dogs. How tall is he anyways? Its not the most determining factor but cmon now, at a certain point and at certain positions, you simply just HAVE to be built to play the spot.

This is the highest level, talent isnt enough. In the NFL only the best athletes in the world can compete.

I like the fact that wfnz covers so much Panthers talk. I just cant tolerate the amount of stupidity I hear on there so I stopped listening. Those new guys are horrible, just aweful and clueless. Whether theyre clamoring for Burress like he's godly or agree with fans on idiotic statements, they have gone waaaaay down hill from what they were and many would say it wasnt much before in the first place. Sounds like just a bunch of amateur rednecks at this point .

Garcia is ok and Moose is great (who is never on the show even though its named after him).
