The most ridiculous Cam Nut Hugging fan was sitting about 3 rows in front of us today.

He was booing Jimmy the entire time he was out there. Yelling for Rivera to sit him down.

Every time Cam made a nice play he was yelling as loud as he could to Jimmy...."That's how it's done loser".

He showed how completely fuging stupid he was on one play. It was the 11 on 11 series where Cam threw the pass into the back of the RB's helmet. He started yelling "Jimmy you suck...coach get him out of there". His buddy sitting next to him proceeded to tell him it was Cam that made the throw.

He immediately screamed "My Bad....that's OK Cam....everyone has a bad play every now and then".

God what a tool.

I don't think people are booing Clausen for this year. I think these are boos from last year people never got a chance to use :)

I think also Jimmy is the same QB from last year and that's not helping. People are saying it was Foxes conservative nature that kept Jimmy in check but training camp is showing that's just who Jimmy is. The only difference this year is that the ball is coming out quicker( a good thing imo). Plus no one booed his good plays. Think of it as positive reinforcement.

Cam is like the popular new kid in school right now. All the girls love him and all the boys want to be his friend. At the end of fanfest he was running around the stadium like Hulk Hogan. Pumping up the crowd, huge smile, confidence etc. Jimmy quietly walked off the field. He has to change perceptions one and a time. If people think he is arrogant and that he sucks he will never be embraced by the fan base.

Why do we care how much a pro athlete gets boo'ed? If he has trouble sleeping at night because he is being boo'ed, he can come to my company and interview. If he gets the job he can expect to enjoy weekly meetings about making quota and numbers etc. And he won't have to be boo'ed. He can go do backbreaking farm work like my dad did.

You guys should want Clausen to succeed. If Newton also succeeds, then you've got your own Mike Vick/Kevin Kolb situation, and look how that turned out for the eagles....Rodgers Cromartie and a 2nd....wow!! You guys should support Jimmy and Newton. It will only help in the long run.

What some Panthers fans are doing is using Jimmy as a scapegoat for last season. Some forget to see that we had a lame duck coach and also saw that JR saw the lockout coming two years out. Jimmy has had that NFL experience now and looks to have improved. Hurney has put the personnel around the offense to make this team succeed and whether it be Cam or Jimmy, this team is looking good. Im a big Cam Newton fan, but im a bigger Carolina Panther fan
