I read 'swelling in the knee' yesterday as the reason his fat ass was not playing.

This after reading 'how good he felt' and 'how glad he was to be back'.

I believe he's in a contract year so I'd expect him to be out there; will tell you this, if he is not out there the next to last exhbition game or the opening game, he'll be toast again this year.

If there is one player that they needed to backup it is him.

Don't care how good someone is, if they are not on the field, it does not matter.

Said it last year, will say it again, a 24 year old with meniscus issues is dead meat in the NFL at his position.

Can add OT to the needs of CB, DT and 2nd WR.

I always wonder how people come up with these deadlines; "if he's not out there by the next to the last exhibition game or the game before my mothers birthday" etc.

I'm pretty sure he's a hell of a player when healthy and the staff are doing all they can to keep him healthy for the games that matter.

Don't panic till you really have a reason but I understand your concern.

Do you live under a rock with no internet? They were talking about swelling in his knee well over a week ago.

Try and keep up.

It's possible that they are just being extra extra cautious with him, hell I would be. I mean look at everyone that hasn't played. Smitty has a cut finger so they dont play him, Beason is probably doesn't feel like playing, so he's not out there. Stewart only comes out for regular season games. Gamble has a cold, so he's not playing.

If it drags on into the regular season a few games then I'll get concerned.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
