Has a stranger ever paid for you food in a drive thru?

I've been meaning to share this for months. Over the summer me and my mom were on our way to Concord and we stopped at Hardees for breakfast. The line was long, and it was taking FOREVER. And we complained amongst ourselves the entire time. We almost just left the line and went elsewhere. Well when the car in front of us got to the window, I noticed her paying twice. I remember saying "Did she buy something else?? Shes holding up the line even longer" So I go to pay only to find out that the lady in front of me bought our breakfast. I couldn't thank her, and she never looked back, it was almost like she didn't want me to. I was shocked when the lady at the window said your breakfast was already paid for. And of course I felt like an asshole.

No I didn't pay for the people behind me...

I've done it for a good looking women a few times behind me in line. I'll just say to the girl in the window. "put her tab on mine" and thumb to the car behind me. I have never got stuck with a really big tab. "Oh, she's buying for her entire office!" or anything like that.

For some strange reason, it makes my day to do that.

I damn near did it to a really hawt girl (stripper hawt!) in Walmart about a month ago. I heard her talking on her cell to her friend about getting paid and stretching money, paying bills, etc. (It was kind of not to hear her, she was standing right beside of me shopping.) When I got to the check out, she was right in front of me. I could tell she was sweating on how much the total would be. When the cashier gave her her total, she said, "Oh good! I can afford that!" So I shut up. (I kind of wished I would have. It was only about $38.)

Random acts of kindness! You never know if you'll makes someone day or not.

There was a guy a few weeks ago who posted the number for his $25 Starbucks gift card online and told people to get coffee and reload the card. Of course some people would try to buy like 10 coffees and deserts and stuff, but a lot of people would just put more money on there. In one 5 hour span $625 was transferred. Starbucks eventually shut the whole thing down for fraudulent card activity but I think it was pretty cool.

There was a very young couple (17 maybe) with a baby in line at the grocery store maybe a month ago. They had a pretty big order and once it was all rang up, they realized they had gone way over budget. There were a few people in line behind them and the guy right behind them forked up the 30 or 40 bucks to cover the rest of their order. It was a really nice thing to see and the girl started crying.

I do it all the time. I love also dropping a fiver or ten spot to the kid working the drive thru. Little stuff makes giant ripple effects.

I also try to make it a point to leave or give my extra food to homeless guys I see during lunch. I just say hey man they gave me an extra sandwich etc, you want the rest? Their pride is intact and they can eat.

It's called paying it forward, I've done it before for the person behind me, not necessarily a hot chick or service personnel, just a random person. I love stories like this.

One time, at a McD's drive thru for breakfast, I tried to tell the very foreign cashier that I would also like to pay for the car behind me after I paid for mine, and she said "no, we can't do that." I tried to explain a few times, but realized I was holding up the line and this girl didn't have a clue, so I just went on my way. Kindness thwarted.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
