Everette Brown doesn't have the tenacity that a guy of his size would need to survive at DE, much less thrive. Give Eric Norwood a year to play with his hand in the dirt and bulk up some, and we will forget all about Brown.

Panther fans give up on players way to easily, half the people on here want a pro-bowl player at every position. As awesome as that would be, it's just not going to happen.

Also, I know a lot of people don't like looking at stats, but they really do tell half of the story. So please do a little research before you start making (Get rid of, Cut, Destroy, Kill, Murder, etc... Insert Player Here) threads.

He couldnt cover anyone in a 3-4, that was a big knock coming out that he is very rigid and couldnt cover. He needs to bulk up and get a beast swim move. poo, all this time with EB, I'm sure he's already mastered the twirl move

A 2-year vet Punt Returner that fumbles balls in preseaon games is a bit more than a "Work in Progress". He's still a project. A project was very expensive to start, and needs to pay dividends fast.

Brown just needs to be sent down the road or converted into a LB.

How often do you see D Ware or Merriman in cvg?

not that often, but the threat is there. Dware is perfectly capable of setting the edge and playing underneath zones against backs and tight ends. He is also the best and most freakish pure pass rusher in the league IMO. I just dont know any many OLBs that cant cover unless they are an absolute beast at rushing the qb. Hali in Kansas City and Super Mario come to mind.
