Arizona is now ON NOTICE!

Listen up Arizona! You are now ON NOTICE!

This week the Carolina Panthers play in Northern Mexico against a team that can think of nothing more menacing than a little red bird to represent their team. A place where pasty white home owners water their rock gardens while pretending to be anything but the walking maxi pads in plaid shorts we all know them to be. A place where the only thing more common than losing is sand.

Welcome to Arizona! We make Utah look exciting.

Wait, whats that? Feel that cool breeze? A mysterious change is in the air.

Winning is coming.

The old regime is gone. A new leader has emerged and is cleaning house. Gone are the days of the 3rd and long draw play. There will be no more sitting on the laurels of a 3 point lead, desperately trying to run out the clock. Our new leader is a true warrior, a military man, a fighter.

Winning is coming.

Featured in this new army is a young upstart, full of potential and the pedigree to be a great leader. A fighter in his own right, he is known as the Happy Warrior, as he appears to be smiling in even the most dire of situations.

Winning is coming

This new Panthers squad features a warrior the likes of which Panthers fans have rarely witnessed. He escaped the wintery lard clogged wasteland known as Chicago and has found his salvation here in the Old God's country. Place him on the battle field and watch as all that oppose him collectively crap themselves. Ironically, crapping themselves would be the most entertaining thing the Cardinals are capable of.

That is right, this week the Carolina Panthers will begin to raise the hopes and dreams of all their fans. This week they will rise above the negativity and put the rest of the league on notice. This week they will do what last season could not be done.

Winning is coming.

Panthers 24 Cardinals 21

    • I have an issue with this. After the draft, the team has already expended it's bargaining chip on the player. Once the player is drafted, they have all of the leverage on any contract negotiations and the team has already lost that pick, giving the player even more power in the situation.
    • They definitely shied away in part of Deion and the hype machine. Hell, even the Browns' football people didn't want him. Just look at the faces in that room as the pick was being announced. LOL  But honestly, Shedeur checks all the boxes of guys who put up big numbers in college but don't project well to the NFL. QB friendly pass happy offense. Bad defense that forces the team to chase points. Weak schedule. Marginal measurables and talent. I mean, let's be honest, what plus physical traits does he have at the NFL level? Size? Below average. Arm? Below average. Mobility? Average. Then you add in the Travis Hunter factor of an all world athlete being your primary target. Finally, you have to look at his playing style. He basically plays like Johnny Manziel. There's pretty much only two guys who have made that style of play work for them in the modern era and that's Favre and Mahomes and they both have absolute cannon arms. Caleb Williams has that cannon and he's still struggling to make it work. Yeah, the Deion circus hurt him but when you objectively look at his NFL projection then combine it with the reports that he handled the whole pre-draft process extremely poorly it's not a shock he fell to the 5th. If his name was Shedeur Johnson instead of Shedeur Sanders there wouldn't have been this massive hype train around him. The media hype misled a lot of people regarding his NFL projection. He basically projects as a backup and the last thing you want out of a backup is a circus. Their fault or not, that's why guys like The Golden Calf of Bristol, Kaepernick, and Cam never carved out careers as backups.
    • *disclaimer, no need to tell us what happened in the end, just quit watching after he gets the Mountain on the ground.  I mean, he technically beat him.  Renfrow isn't cocky enough to then get leg swept and then have all that other stuff happen to him.
