I've been away from console FPSing lately, but recently quit WoW and plan to refocus and practice on black ops. I'll probably end up getting both CoD and BF3 to switch it up though. Even though BF3 looks way better graphically.

It is just the ultimate rpg. It's graphics are great, great functionality, the most indepth stories, item systems, character/stat development. It also gives you the most bang for your buck as you can easily get lost in an elder scrolls game for days at a time. I tried to get out of the "nerdier" games a few years back, the ones that take away your life but the elder scrolls games are always an exception.

Countless hours of gameplay.

The customization is awesome.

Open world. Doesn't guide you to specific areas. You do what you want.

The interaction with NPC's and whatever are top notch.

The skill system is great.

If you like RPGs this game would be for you.

Notice they're all sequels? This gen sucks compared to what it should be. Uncharted 3 is coming November...not excited...just eye candy.

And while none of those are world beaters, they're all more interesting than those listed in the poll.

Just a bunch of glam games that have paid for fugtons of magazine ads, television commercials, and IGN banners.
