I'll play your game though....

1. How are you going to fix Pugh's putrid coverage and tackling?

2. How are you going to get the o-line to start blocking better in the run game?

3. How are you going to get Captain to grow 5 inches so he can cover bigger receivers?

4. How are you going to create a situation where Dan Connor doesn't have to come out anytime we think it's going to be a pass?

5. How are you going to make our rookie DTs gain 30 pounds overnight and be able to stuff runs in the backfield?

6. How are you going to instantly make it so a rookie QB doesn't have rookie mistakes?

7. How are you going to get Cam to be more accurate in the short passing game?

Answer those for me genius....

Listen grasshopper. The coaches will do their job to make sure that the team minimizes mistakes. Unlike a few posters I feel that we are close to being able to win any game this year. Our corners have played well, our DT's were much IMPROVED this game. What really irked me was your attitude of "Win or I'm doing something else" support your team, have some patience.

What I can't have candy before dinner?!?! Well fug you mom, I'm not hungry.

fake fan my ass.....I'm a real fan, because I do expect my team to be a contender every year. I just honestly CANNOT watch us loose, and if you watched the game with me you would understand. I get SOOOOOOOO emotional it gets me to the point where its health-threatening.

Today I was watching it with 2 buddies, who started picking on Cam and our team, a Saint's fan and Jet's fan....I got in my car and drove away cause I was about to blow up in their faces. They called me back, and I finished watching the game with them pulling FOR us. They understood, I take this to heart!

So don't call me a fake fan because I can't stand to watch us loose! I hate losing.

I bet we all would understand if we watched the game with you.

I'm not going to fix every one of those things. Wanna know why? Because I didn't need to fix all of those things to win today's game. That's what I'm trying to get through yours, and everyone else's head that's in this thread. We CAN win DESPITE those short comings.

I only had to fix ONE thing today to at least tie the game today: throwing it away on 3rd and 1 for example. Or any of the many plays we gave the game away on.

And 6-7....easy...I don't have to do it instantly. I have 5 days to do it gradually before next Sunday...when we will be playing an opponent of much lesser quality.

And then I have 5 more to do it before my next opponent, and that's exactly what I'm talking about. The difference between us being a winning and losing team this year is what happens in those 5 days.

Why does that irk some of you? It's the damn truth, and more than half the board does the same thing. And more than half the fan base does the same thing.

I'm sorry, but that is the truth. I will be the first to admit that I am not as hardcore a fan as you may be, if you sit there every single Sunday and watch every single game of every single season, win or lose. I don't.

I'm just being honest, and I could care less if anyone has a problem with it.
