Team Captains

Beason and Davis are team captains, correct? Who will replace them now that they are both on IR? Does the team need to replace them? Why not just go ahead and make Cam Newton a captain? (that last one should get some colorful comments)

Yeah I was wondering about that. I am not sure how that works. But I do know that Charles Johnson should be a captain if you replace the injured captains. The guy is a beast and seems to do a good job interacting with the team.

I don't think you replace the captains when they get hurt, but I could be wrong.

It's not like he won't be on the sidelines you don't take the captain status away because he got injured. they both will still be a force in the lockeroom

If I were CJ, Gamble or Cam... At this point the "C" is kind of a curse. I'd tell the team to keep it if I were them...

In my short 5 months here, I've seen just about everything...

Some of the people on this board that consider themselves "fans" are utterly disgraceful!

Those same people that you're referring to also wanted to cut Hardy as well.

Those are also the same people that wanted us to Give Away Steve Smith during the offseason for peanuts in return

I mentioned in the gameday thread that I had noticed James Anderson is now a captain. Did anybody else happen to notice a patch on any other defensive players? I think dude deserves it big time and will step his game up even moreso now with Beason and Davis out. Makes me sad to think about what it would have been like to have those three out there actually healthy for a season.
