Coordinators in the NFL catch more than their fair share of the blame when things don't go well. IMO, Chud has done a wonderful job so far, and we have shown dramatic improvement. But we do need to get the run game going.

I think Rivera/Chud will continue going to the pass if teams won't to bring the heat.....no point trying to ground out yards with little wiggle room when there are huge plays to be made out there.

I guess my point is, this year doesn't look any different than prior years.. well, other than this random guy who came out throwing back to back 400 yard games... otherwise you would be seeing the usual 3&out and punting majority of the game..

I understand the concept of passing to set up the run here, but we don't really try to establish it...watch any Jets game or the Falcons/Eagles game to see what I mean.

I think Chud is great and I think Rivera is doing a masterful job thus far with the team. I think that Newton, Rivera and Chud are going to win a lot of games in this league together. Something special is brewing.

I like how they're feeding Newton a little bit more of the playbook at a time.

There is literally no point in having Naanee on the field...use that vacancy and put Felton in and run out of the goddamn I. Since this is a learning process, Newton will have to eventually get accustomed to taking some snaps under center.

Actually, that's kind of how it works. Those 1yd runs usually turn in to 3-4-5or more yd runs in the 2nd half, but only if you keep doing it. It's like body blows in boxing...sometimes the damage doesn't show up until the late rounds.
