So who is expecting a win today?

I know I shouldn't. I know that the team is still learning and growing. Maybe it's the fact I have awesome seats to the game and have been pumped all week for this game, as what I refer to as 'Cam's Cherry'. I have just a little feeling that won't let me out of expecting a win this game.

Quite different than the first two games. I watched them trying to get to know our team a bit more, see how everyone has progressed.. I am not going to be watching this game like that and I can't help it. I feel myself expecting a win, a loss would be very disappointing, unlike the first two games.

Don't give me the whole not a real fan, always expect to win bullpoo. I always support my team and hope that they win but expecting, no exceptions to win is a bit different. For instance Last loss to me was not disappointing at all. Does that mean I am not a fan and don't want my team to win? No.

It just feels good to feel a win coming on. I haven't seen a win at the stadium in so long. We have seen so far a 'learning Cam' but I feel one he tastes his first victory and begins to experience the fruits of his labor he is going to take it up a notch, and that's just fuging scary.

Sometimes I really feel there are those who want the team to stay losing so they can ish and complain about how bad the team is.

I personally would love for u guys to get ur win today. Especially against a team where their QB's job is becoming like a revolving door but I am really nervous for ur defense after watching the first two games. To expect Cam and the offense to be mistake free all the time while the defense put no real pressure on the opponent's QB is going to make for a very long season.

Here's hoping the both sides of the team are firing on all cylinders today and u guys walk away with a win to bring about many more.

As each day went by this week, all the way up to this morning, my confidence of a win has slipped just a bit. Mainly just because of the reckless bravado on this site all week about how it's already a win. This team of players we have right now don't have a lot of wins under their collective belt, so they will have to work very hard today to get their first W of the season.

I haven't watched one second of Jags football, so I won't profess to know their strengths and weaknesses, only that they have a badass running back who we have to slow down. If we can get to Gabbert early and ruin his rhythm and disrupt any timing or chemistry he might have developed in practice this week as the starter, then we should be fine as I believe our offense should overwhelm the Jags.

The defense missing so many key starters prevents me from "expecting" a win, but I sure as hell hope the guys step up and whip some ass.

With all of our old star defensive players out, it is time to make some new stars with some new players on D. Today is that day we step up and overcome the injury bug and all the other negative crap that has plagued the Panthers for years.

Otah's back in operation and the running game is set to start moving. So do it.

But where is Tutu? Has he even hit the field? He is suppose to be the red zone mechanic.

I expect them to win this game flat out. But then again I expect them to win every week. They don't but I still expect it. I don't bet on them to win but I do expect it. I don't understand this "happy if they play well even if they lose mentality". I know the players expect to win eaxh week. As fans why would be any different?

And don't give me the old realist crap. Realists rarely accomplish anything in life, they see the limitations not the possibilities.

If the team comes out and plays like they did the first two weeks, but limit the turnovers, I think they win. Even in both losses this season, I have walked away from both games excited for the next week. Honestly, I don't remember the last time I was so pumped after a 0-2 start and feeling like the team has it in them to turn it all around. GO PANTHERS!

If the team feels like that, I feel contempt. I just want to see our team want to win and give it their all that is what I am cheering for. What else can you ask for? It'll either be good enough for a win or it won't, and if the players care about that difference, I'm good. I am not going to say I am just 'happy to see them play', there is a difference in being happy about how we played and not being disappointed.
