Scalpers Sunday

I overheard a conversation 'tween scalpers. "One said, see what those fake tickets done to us". They must have been having a bad day. Last week there were some counterfiet tickets sold outside the stadium.

me and my three buddies got 4 tix at $35 a piece and they were pretty good seats.

I can also vouch for the fake ticket rumors. I went to the ECU/USC game a couple weeks ago and we saw some dude getting arrested for selling fake tickets.

One way to look for fake tickets is to make sure the account serial numbers on the seats all match each other.

i was worried about this as well. my buddies and i got ours from a PSL owner who was selling his, and they were missing the hologram that's been on every single one i've ever gotten. we asked him to accompany us to the stadium entrance to be sure. he was a nice guy and i felt bad for the mistrust, but we wanted to be sure. no way i'm blowing fifty bucks on a fake ticket.

The best thing to do is ask them to walk with you to the entrance. Most people with fake tickets will not accompany you to the entrance.

But the thing is, you have to go thru about a 30 ft long pat down corral, past the gameday program people, past the gameday freebie people, and finally get to the ticket scanners at the turnstile. The scalper isn't even allowed on the official grounds. He'd have plenty of time to get away before you get to the scanner.

    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
