Bank of America to charge $5/month for debit card use

It'll lead to other institutions to follow suit with similar charges.

how about this poo... i have two accounts linked to each other... if i overdraw one accidentally, it pulls money from the other (simple overdraft type poo). BoA charges me $10 for making that money transfer

wachovia once pre-emptively charged my wife a hefty overdraft fee, based on the EXPECTATION that she was going to overdraft, "based on prior spending history".

If you live in meck co you should be with Charlotte Metro Credit Union, I have yet to pay a single fee of any kind in the 2 years I've been with them. AND they make debit cards in each branch, lose your card? Open a new account? Get hacked? No problem you'll have a new one within 10 minutes of arriving at the branch. Pretty schweet
