So who runs the Panthers when...

JR is not with us anymore? I am not trying to be disrespectful or morbid in any fashion, it's just part of life and valid question for the inquiring mind. Who do you think? Will it be someone JR wants, or do they figure out the next owner differently? Like a vote from the other owners?

While I don't agree with some of the things JR has said or done, at least he seems to run this buisness the right way, unlike some owners. This is evident by players wanting to stay here (yea the money helps too) but the players we signed seem to play for more than just money. I'd hate to see that ruined.

I was just wondering because it would kill me to have the respectful tradition be ruined by a bad owner that somehow got a hold of a team. I see some owners of other teams seem to drag them down who have had good histories and it saddens me to think what could happen to us otherwise and I do fully trust JR in choosing who it is so I hope that is the case but really don't know. (obviously).

Well I searched and it appears we don't have shareholders so I guess it is up to JR? He owns it outright and has 100% control? I could have sworn I read somewhere he was only the majority owner. I did however find out he is the only owner today that was also a player, pretty cool.

Likely this. When Frontiere passed here in St. Louis, ownership went between her son Chip Rosenbloom and daughter Lucia Rodriguez before they sold to the Kroenkes.

That is my #1 fear if JR has the ultimate choice, is his choice selling the team. Money talks, and I have a hunch it fits into this scenario somehow.

He is not the only owner. Remember his infamous speech last January about owing it to his business partners a return on their investment?

According to wiki he owns 52% and 14 others own the remaining 48%

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
