Yeah you have every right to voice your opinions but those opinions are premature. Its the 4th game for a new coaching staff thats looking for an identity give them time before you bring out the pitch forks.

I have no pitch fork. I'm not asking for Rivera to be fired. I'm asking why he continues to make the same mistakes, along with Chud.

i'm for winning, but i am also realistic. new schemes, new coach, new coordinator, new players and you guys act like we should be winning every game with a shot at the super bowl. realistically, we go 6-10 at best this year. so i dont get worked up over a loss like this. is it aggravating? yes. do i ge frustrated with the calls/mental mistakes? yes. but i expect this things to happen with a team that is growing. be patient and give the team some time to grow. its only the 4th game of the season. rome wasnt built in a day.

I'm disappointed with dumb decisions helping pile up the losses and detracting from all the talent on this team. You can't have over 500 yards of total offense, control the clock, go even on the TO battle, and lose.

i agree with you on everything above.....however....still a young team. this time next year...i wont be as forgiving. for now, i will try to keep my blood pressure under 120 ;-)

It's the Panthers fan-base, unfortunately. They are either completely negative or completely homer, never in the middle/realistic. Are we competitive for the first time in a while? Yes. Should we be excited? Yes. Is there things that need to be criticized from our coaches? YES. Should we stop abandoning the run, especially when it is successful? NO.

This is funny. I visit many team's forums, and watch as the homers viciously defend their team and attack those who aren't blowing sunshine out their rears. I have no problem being the reasonable one. The coaching staff has done a great job demonstrating their mistakes through the first quarter of the season. Some of it is because their new, some of it is a problem in philosophy. Unfortunately, they have yet to learn form those mistakes, and that right there can be justifiably criticized.

Yeah, you are the reasonable one. Our rookie head coach and his new staff should have our team favorites for the Super Bowl by week 4. Forget the fact that we finished dead last in the NFL last year, or that we have 5 starters on IR that includes 2 All-Pro caliber linebackers, or that they've only been working together for 2 months. Excuses are for losers. We should be the best team in the NFL now!

No one said we should be Super Bowl contenders. yes, all those things you said are huge disadvantages for this team/staff. But the fact that we out-performed the other teams in our 3 losses, and still lost because of some questionable play-calling is a very good reason to question the coaching staff.

No way anyone is saying anyone on the staff should be fired. That's crazy. But I would like to see better play-calling in the redzone and not abandoning the run game, especially with how good they looked today.
