Why is Clausen still taking up a roster spot every week when he could be on the Practice Squad or elsewhere, and the Panthers could bring in another player at a key position who actually contributes every week?

They don't need a 3rd QB taking up a spot each week with the way the Defense is getting gashed. How you "personally" feel about Clausen is irrelevant. It's a fact.
