It's an individual thing. If you get to the goal, you make it, if you don't just don't show up to work on Jan 1.

Profitable, no, but it's not supposed to be yet.

I was a little bummed about it yesterday when it happened, but now I am kinda over it. Looking at all of the exciting things that I get to do next.

Yes, they can choose not to "renew" your contract.

Not really sure, for some it will be motivation, for others I think that they may shut down.
