When you have the 30th ranked rush defense, people don't really ever need to pass the ball.;)

We have also been thrown against the least amount of times averaging 23.8 attempts per game. The next closes is at 27.3 attempts per game. I think CB still needs to be address in the draft or FA

This happens when your run defense is so shitty that teams have no need to pass the ball on you.

Statistically your pass defense looks awesome because fewer passes are being attempted.

average/below average in takeaways(4)

and among the worst in many other more important stats than YPG

I have no clue.. bottom line is he is a 4th round pick. How often do 4th round picks contribute right away? Rarely. Especially one's that have missed all of the pre-season and minicamps.

anyways corners can be overrated and I don't even have it as a need(by need I mean using a high pick on one) next year

they're def valuable but people have this obsession with shutdown corners when at their very best they just turn the game into 10vs10. would take an impact d-linemen 99/100 times over a shutdown corner.

I agree with you. Gamble/Captain have exceeded my expectations. I dont think we have the 6th best pass defense though....
