He ran a 4.37 40time after knee injury. Not only haters but also morons

He can run fast the first 40 but the when it comes to the 50, the 60 and so on he wears down. He has to work on that. I love the guy and was a big fan of the draft pick but he can slow up mid field and get tackled by the kicker. That had to have been a TD there.

I said after the draft next to Newton this will be our best pick. The kid is a playmaker. I can't wait to see him and Newton develop some chemistry. Heres an article I found on him that convinces me even more he will be special.

Draft expert here better start respecting. Just wait until this kid starts making waves at WR. Great pick.

dude's continuing to impress.

still....last two games were against the two worst special teams unit in the league.

i want to see him do it against a better one before i get too excited.

the thing is, he's doing it with one of the worst special teams units in the league...

that's why i'm holding off on any exuberance.

was it just because he was playing against the worst? has he all of a sudden given us a respectable kick return game? has the ST units found a way to not suck in one phase of play?

i've just got to see him against someone better. i'm cautiously optimistic.

This.

I pointed this out in the thread on his TD return last week, but to me, it appears he's just running out of gas at about the 50. The burst and speed are there early and once he gets through the initial wall, but it just looks like his legs give out after that.

I think it's just a matter of conditioning and getting used to running that distance on a regular basis. The guy wasn't even on the active roster for a good part of the season, and he's our best KR in years with ability to take it all the way on any given kickoff... Give him a break.
