Our dual tight end threat.

This really seems to be one of the main reasons why we are giving defensive coordinators fits. The subject of resigning Shockey has come up in a few topics on here but what do you think the chances are of Shockey resigning with us for a 2-3 year deal? They seem to be perfect for this offense. They're like the 2009 tight end version of double trouble. We need a nick name so someone needs to get on that ASAP. I'm loving this dual threat.

Nick names suck.

Tightends do pose matchup problems.

This offense is loaded with weapons.

Two elite running backs.

One of the best receivers in the league.

Two dangerous tight ends.

(Damn i miss gettis)

The defense can't shut them all down.

All the qb has to do is get the ball into the hands of his playmakers.

Our tightends havent had the success i have been expecting, but that's cause te attention they've been getting from defenses, especially in the redzone.

Once Cam eliminates his mistakes, and continues to gel with his weapons, this offense will be even more dangerous.

    • I said it leading up to the draft that I have no idea what the evaluators are looking at when they watch this guy on a college field and translate that to elite QB prospect. He checked zero physical boxes and nothing about his play stylistically translated.
    • Both those sideline catches were inexcusable and I’ve been a XL guy.  Believing this offseason would have him coming back dramatically better.  His physical tools are undeniable.  And he clearly is a hard worker.  But man, to be a receiver and not have the ability to extend your body and drag your feet while pulling the weight off your lower half?  That’s a prerequisite to being a receiver.  It’s bare minimum stuff.  You can be athletic as hell but some stuff you just can’t teach.  He looked heavy foot d on both of those plays.  Absolutely zero attempt to drag his feet and agility was nowhere to be found.  Idk man…
    • If we have another 2-15 to 6-11 ish season again, I think he's solid top 5 ish bust of all time in terms of QBs.  Hard to say he's the worst when his career isn't over.
