This One Is not On Ron.. Its on the Refs

I'm wondering why not more people are making mention of the fact that the refs ripped us hard today. Maybe we are just too used to it.

I have never seen holding go without penalty more in my life...

Everytime we got good pressure on golden boy we were held and no calls!!!

And... Am I the only one not convinced that it was a phantom timeout which Riviera took credit for. No one sees a timeout in any of the film... Ron is too smart to do that and his 12 men TD thing is garbage.. the most garbage excuse i've ever heard... No one else thinks that is weird.

I'm just saying... call it a conspiracy... something wasn't right with the reffing today.

Can't really bitch about the refs today.

We got 3 roughing the passers.

Smitty didn't get flagged for choke slamming a Saint in the endzone.

We got a PI to give us another chance on the last drive.

We benefited today.

I thought that was instigated and well deserved, but anyway sure was fun to see. Don't fug with Steve Smith. You will lose.

Yes, i was wondering about how that time out call was made, but Ron accepted responsibility so it must be true that he did indeed call time out. And while I'm convinced last weeks' call against Shocky was pure bull-hockey, the only bad call today was the roughing the passer call that went in our favor. This inconsistency of roughing the passer calls needs to get fixed. The second call roughing call against the Saints was correct, but the first one wasn't even close. Your argument was more valid last week.

    • Good game so far.  Solid trench battles, two young well built defenses, and my 2 fave coaches.  Stafford is really damn good.  SEA OL is overperforming.
    • Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.
    • Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕
